The barcodes function from the menu is provided to display the number of unique barcodes to be printed. This value does not include the total barcode labels that are to be printed. The barcodes button will change from displaying Barcodes to a number incrementing from one to as many unique barcode labels that are required with each test that is selected. To view the barcode definitions, select the number displayed to view the default barcode grouping and barcode layout. If a test is not wanted to be printed on its own barcode, clicking on that test will dissociate it from the group it was scheduled to print with. If at any stage the operator wishes to restore the default layout as calculated by Empress, selecting the Default button will restore the tests default grouping
