Empress Master Overview

The Empress Master program provides a set of tools available for the operator from program setup and customisation to program maintenance and statistics.

Empress Master is designed to be accessible from the server site or from over the network. Empress Master should be installed on the server site to open in the Windows Start Up program group so that it is automatically launched when the computer is started.

When Empress master is opened on the server computer, the program performs maintenance and verification procedures on startup and is ready to accept requests form client Empress workstations after all maintenance procedures have been completed. If this program is not open, Empress workstations will be unable to start.

Any active workstation connected to Empress master will remain operational if Empress master is shutdown, but will be left running in an isolated state. Once Empress master is restarted, the connection between each active workstation will automatically without any user intervention, re-connect for centralised control.
