The data in this line of the batch is either missing or does not match the format.

The printer may have been switched off without closing the Empress Numbering System or the label definition has been deleted from memory.

The printer stores a number of pre-defined label definitionsstored in the volatile memory of the printer which are transmitted from Empress to the printer during the startup process. Switching the printer off clears the printers volatile memory and the stored label definitions are lost.

Closing the Empress program and restarting will transmit the label definitions to the printer again.

A quick refresh of the Empress program will also solve this problem.
By pressing Control and R on the keyboard simultaniously, Empress will refresh numerous settings including printer configurations.
