.When a user logs into Empress, logon messages configured within the system are displayed in the number order they are entered.

This function can be used to inform operators of program setup changes or operational procedure modifications.

Create a New Message
To add a new message click on the last message record navigator. Once the message screen is blank, enter the next available message number and the logon message you would like to appear. Once this is completed, the message is automatically save


Manually Delete a Global Message
To remove a message that is no longer required, select the message that is no longer required by using the message navigation buttons and click on the delete button. Empress will prompt to confirm that the message is to be deleted, if yes is select the message will be removed from the message list. If no is selected the message will be left on the system.

Expiry Date
Empress global messages can have an Expiry Date configured. Once a message has elapsed the expiry date, Empress will automatically delete the unwanted message from the system without intervention from the administrator.

No limit is placed upon the size of the message to be supplied, but it should be kept in mind that your own personal computer system limits to display the massage and the comprehension ability of the operator reading the message, should be kept in mind to make it a useful tool
