Empress provides the user the option to import the configuration settings from and external configuration file. This feature can be used to restore the program after a new installation, or to import a completely new test configuration created from an offline system such that testing can be performed before the finalised configuration is used in a live system.

You can optionally install the separated configurations within the Empress program. To import the program configurations select Database, Import Configuration. This will prompt for the Empress configuration file.

Select the desired configuration file and click Open to validate the configuration file. After validation, Empress will display the available configurations for the import process. You may select all or only selected options for the import process.
