Test Setup and Configuration - Assigning Test Positions

After a test has been created, it is placed into the unassigned tests list. The unassigned test list displays the test or screen description that will appear on the screen as a selection button.

To assign a test or sub-menu screen to a specified screen location, select the desired screen from the drop down list. Once selected, the screen will appear with the current test layout configuration. By clicking and holding (click down and hold to drag drop) on the unassigned test to be used, drag the test to the position desired on the screen.

Releasing the mouse button will assign the test item to that particular location on the screen.

NOTE : If you are modifying your test definition on your live system, changes you make are occurring in real time. Therefore as each screen is loaded, the new test definition is reflected by your changes. It may be more suitable to install an offline Empress system on an alternate computer and perform your test modifications to suit. After all changes have been completed, export your test definitions and import the new configuration into the live Empress Numbering system
