Frequently Asked Questions

Deleting a Test
To delete a test from the Test Display Location screen, select the test from the two available display areas: Test Display Area or the Unassigned Test List.

Test Display Area
To delete a test from the Test Display/Location screen click and hold on the test that is no longer required (ie start the drag drop process).

Unassigned Tests List
To delete a test from the unassigned tests list click on the test no longer required by clicking and holding on the test that is no longer required (ie start the drag drop process)

Drag the mouse pointer down and over the trash bin icon at the bottom of the screen window. Once the mouse pointer is located over the trash bin icon the mouse pointer will change to represent a permissible drop. Releasing the mouse button over the trash bin icon will cause Empress to prompt for confirmation to delete the test being sent to the bin. If yes is confirmed to delete the test, the test will be deleted and removed from the trash bin. If no is selected, the deletion process will be halted and the test returned from the trash bin and restored to its location in the tests screen

NOTE : If you are modifying your test definition on your live system, changes you make are occurring in real time. Therefore as each screen is loaded, the new test definition is reflected by your changes. It may be more suitable to install an offline Empress system on an alternate computer and perform your test modifications to suit. After all changes have been completed, export your test definitions and import the new configuration into the live Empress Numbering system
